DOR Workflow / Approvals
How the DOR workflow and approval process works.
This process will change once we release the workflow enhancement, expected end of December 2022
DOR Workflow (an electronic signature / acknowledgement process) is used to document the date, time and whom signed off (approved) a DOR.
DOR Workflow
The default DOR workflow is: FTO ⇒ Probationer ⇒ Supervisor
Workflow is initiated by a FTO on the COMPLETE tab of the DOR.
FTO who created the DOR will see the Complete DOR button at the lower right corner of the COMPLETE tab.
To initiate workflow:
- 1
- The FTO clicks the Complete button.
- 2
- DOR is immediately sent to the Probationer for Acknowledgement.
- 3
- The probationer receives a message in their Message to complete the DOR.
- 4
- The probationer clicks the message to launch the full view of the DOR.
- 5
- The probationer reviews the contents of the DOR and clicks the Complete.
- 6
- All supervisors then receive a message the DOR is ready for approval.
- 7
- The appropriate supervisor clicks the message to launch the full view of the DOR.
- 8
- The supervisor reviews the contents of the DOR and clicks the Complete button.
- 9
- Once the supervisor clicks Complete, workflow is terminated and the DOR finalized.
Each agency has the ability to customize the wording in the approval area so the approval wording for your agency may appear different than the wording in this user manual.
Reactivating a DOR
If an FTO catches an issue before the DOR is approved by a supervisor, the DOR can be reactivated by the FTO. Reactivating a DOR removes any current approvals / signatures and returns the DOR to an editable state.
If the Supervisor finds an issue and needs to send the DOR back to the FTO, they can click the Reactivate button. Reactivating a DOR removes any current approvals / signatures and returns the DOR to an editable state.
DOR Approvals
You can view DOR Approvals at the bottom of a completed DOR.
Completed DOR's can be accessed from the DOR Report. Reports ⇒ DOR Report.
