Patrol Activity Log Tab
The Patrol Activity Log Tab replaces the paper Patrol Activity Log (shown below).
While the activity log was designed to be used by the probationer, if your agency allows, both the FTO and the Probation can make log entries.
The Patrol Activity Log (PAL)
The PAL is a running log of activity that is generally completed by a probationer, however both the probationer and FTO can create, edit or delete log entries. Additionally, COPFTO's electronic log enhances the process by allowing agencies to capture the nature of the log entry.
NEW: Natures is now a multi select field.
Add a log Entry
Use the PAL entry form to:
Select the start and end times - If you want to use the clock feature, place your cursor in the start time field and a clock modal will open. You click on the hours and then click on the minutes. Then the modal will close leaving the start time in the field. Do the same for the ending time.
Select the Natures - If your agency uses this feature, you should select the nature related to this log entry. By selecting the appropriate natures your agency is able to tabulate what type of calls you have been exposed to during your field training.
Primary Contact Officer (PCO) - Use the radio button to select either FTO or PROB (Probationer)
Write the log entry using the text editor
Click the Add Entry button
