Password Rules
YOUR NAME => AGENCY SETTINGS => Password Rules
The Password Rules tab allows an agency to customize the user password requirements for your agency. Changes made are not in effect until a user logs out and back in.
Important:
Passwords are AGENCY wide. We do NOT set password requirements per group. Changing a password rule can have a serious impact on your users. Please make sure your users are aware of your password requirements prior to implementing them.
You agencies password rules were configured by COPFTO when your agency was setup and most agencies will not modify these settings.
CJIS: We advise you at the bottom if your password configuration is CJIS compliant
